    HI Corporation first launched MascotCapsule version 1 in 2001, followed by version 2 later the same year. Version 3 followed in 2002 and version 4 in 2003. MascotCapsule V3 saw massive success, with an install base of over 100 million devices by 2005.

    In 2007 MascotCapsule Eruption (updated to EruptionST in 2010) and MascotCapsule Renderion were released, adding support for the OpenGL ES standards, allowing it to make better use of the more powerful Smart phones.
