After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.
Mass Effect: Origins (or something similar) is where my money is at. Perhaps set it during the Krogan Rebellion and Rachni Wars, allow you to select race on top of class etc. It could work - I'd love to play as a Turian for once or maybe a Drell.
@WinterSnowblind: Then they wouldn't go around calling it Mass Effect 4.
Also they're probably not going to expand with a butt-load of games when the trilogy ends. They'll probably pull a Halo, dick around with some movie deals for a while, get some more books out there, comic books, make it a real franchise then eventually start to trickle out sub-standard spin-off games produced by some EA "B" squad, while Bioware moves on to other things. Can't keep them on the same franchises forever.
What if you'd get to play as Nihlus? The game could end right when Saren kills him, an infamous moment we are all familiar with. Plus, you could run into Samara and fight her for 3 days in the woods.
