Meursault

Overview

His past has yet to be revealed, but Meursault does mention that he worked for N Corp at some point. He appears to take everything literally, and will usually not act on his own unless ordered to by his Manager. He is a large, muscular man who uses gauntlet-covered fists as his main weapons, with "SOLEIL" printed on his right gauntlet.

Identities

Liu Association South Section 6 Meursault uses blunt or piercing strikes and builds Burn on enemies with all his attacks.

W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent Meursault wields a hatchet that deals slash damage, charging up with each successful strike. His attacks can debuff the enemy's defense or inflict Rupture with enough charge built up.

N Corp. Großhammer Meursault takes on the role of Guido from Canto III in the main story, as "The Hammer of The One Who Grips." His attacks deal some pierce or blunt damage, but is mainly focused on tanking enemy hits and applying Nails to debuff enemies and support other N Corp IDs.

Rosespanner Workshop Fixer Meursault is allegedly the most competent/confident member of his Workshop, to the point that other employees seem to dump off their work on him. This Meursault wields a large hammer that deals blunt damage while applying Tremor to enemies.

R Corp. 4th Pack Rhino Meursault rams into enemies with his suit for a blunt attack, or uses his armblade for slashing attacks. In either case, he slowly builds up Charge meter, and at high enough Charge, increases his own speed and can make enemies bleed more with each hit.

The Middle Little Brother Meursault uses his bare fists to deal blunt damage to enemies, and is more powerful when surrounded by other Middle IDs or allies who use Envy Resonance.

Blade Lineage Mentor Meursault takes on the role of Bamboo-hatted Kim from the original timeline. Wielding a large, single-edged sword (either a Unggeom or Hwandudaedo in appearance), he deals slash damage, gives himself and other allies Poise, supports other Blade Lineage IDs, and similar to Pequod Captain Ishmael, he has four unique status effects that can be activated under special conditions.
