Don't read too much into this. There isn't any way it is a second Minecraft. The first was just barely officially "released".

Checking the dudes Twitter feed, the April bit is just in response to a question about when Minecraft is coming to Xbox. And I agree, the Minecraft 2 part is probably a joke.

He probably does mean the Xbox version or when Mojang have told him 2.0 is planned to come out (as in an update). A sequel to Minecraft would have the same effect as dividing by zero.

I think he might have meant Minicraft 2 (note the second 'i'). That wouldn't be the first time he's done that.

There have been some amazing mods created by the communtity. All they have to do is throw them into the core game and i'd pay another 20 bucks.
