The sequel to 2007’s wildly successful first-person-shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues the story of American and British soldiers fighting Russian ultra-nationalist forces.
I really can't stand them as I find it hard to judge where my bullets are going. Just seems like it was tacked on for poops and giggles without much thought. The game is a First Person Shooter for a reason that it was made to be played as a First Person Shooter.
It seems very tacked-on. I mean, precision aiming becomes practically irrelevant because none of your scopes or iron sights matter anymore. Given that half of the appeal of the multiplayer is leveling up and watching your gear get better and better (and more specific) and none of that progression really shows in the third-person playlists... I don't know. It does not seem like a good way to play that game at all.
" i dont play them that much. to me they feel like some weird hack and not part of the real game. i just dont get why they put it in. 3rd person shooters work because they have been designed with a 3rd person perspective in mind as are 1st person games. just think how weird gears would be in 1st person. "
Gears in First person is actually really good believe it or not.
But anyways, the third-person needs tweaking. The crosshair is way to big to actually represent any of the bullets and plus the un-zoomed is really stupid since it just goes right over your head.
