Mx vs Atv review
Over the past few years the MX vs ATV franchise has had it's ups and downs but THQ has decided to attempt to revive the franchise with their latest release of MX vs ATV Alive. This game is great! if you are a motocross fan, someone who follows the sport,or a dedicated fan of the franchise you should find this one enjoyable! The game starts you off as a rookie rider looking to go up the ranks with the help from pro supercross legend James Stewart but unlike leveling up in other racing games this one makes it easy.Virtualy every mode you do in the game earns you XP to level up once you start to level up you unlock bikes, parts, graphic kits, rider gear and ect. i found this system of unlock everything by experiance to be very easy and a nice change of pace from having to buy everything with credits. Customization in this game is also nice while THQ is offering a truck load of downloadable content for the game what you get out of the box will give you something fun to do in the meantime with player bike, and atv, customization and XP grinding.Gameplay is pretty straight forward it uses the same reflex controls that MX vs ATV Reflex does with a few minor improvements such as better response and more control over your bike and rider. The only real problems i found with this game is the fact that although there are a good amout of things to do in game their are very few games modes out of the box, generic bikes and atvs, and only 2 free ride tracks and mastering freestyle tricks with the reflex controls can be challenging but THQ hopes to improve some of these things with future downloadable content. All in all MX vs ATV Alive is a great game! and at a price of $39.99 a good bargain for people who dont wanna spend too much on a newer title, this game is a def 4 1/2 out of 5 stars but dont just take my word for it play it yourself and find out!
