Overview
Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor is an adventure game developed and published by Her Interactive for the PC platform. Curse of Blackmoor Manor was also released as a DVD game.
Story
The player takes control of Nancy Drew who is tasked with heading to Blackmoor Manor in England to solve a mystery. The mystery is to figure out why Linda Penvellyn has locked herself in her room and flat out refuses to even speak to anyone out of fear.
During the course of figuring out why this is, Nancy must delve into the history of the Penvellyn family and Blackmoor Manor and find out who, or what is "haunting" the manor.
Gameplay
Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor is a point and click adventure game in which the player controls Nancy Drew in a first person perspective. Play takes place in static backgrounds in which the player can click on objects to interact or examine objects in an environment.
The view can also be rotated by placing the cursor on the edges of the screen. Players can also move from room to room by placing the cursor at an exit, and when the cursor changes to an arrow it can be clicked to move in that direction.
