    Naruto Ninja 1+2=2.5

Naruto UNS:Generations is a decent sequel that should of done more. This entry doesn't do anything to wow the fans of this series. We get 70 characters and I think 11 more if players have a ultimate storm 2 save but those characters are assist only. However that may sound like a lot of characters it really isn't. They are lots of repeat characters with the only difference being how their ultimate jutsu start and their design.

The gameplay hasn't change much, one of the best welcome changes is to the story mode. Instead of running around like players did in the first 2 games, Generations is just straight story, you get a cut scene from the anime and you fight, rinse and repeat no need to run around looking for items. However for those who liked the collecting element of the first two games, they've kept it in the game. You earn RYO with each match and spend that in the shops. Hundreds of items, cards, titles, substitution items. The other gameplay change is the kawarimi(substitution) technique that applies to the L2 or LT button. Players are only allowed to use it 4 times in a row before they must give it time to recharge.

Visually its on par with what the first 2 games in the series set. The characters look like their anime counterparts, the animation for each ultimate jutsu looks great. The environment is equally as beautiful

Sound is on the same par as well, The sound effect for each technique sound like it came from the anime, kunais crashing into each other, to top it off it comes with both the english and japanese dubs, which isn't a surprise since the first 2 game did as well.

Conclusion: It still doesn't do enough to the gameplay for it to be 60$. This is like Street Fighter 4 to Super Street Fighter 4, little tweaks here and there and add some characters. This is more of a 40$ game at best, so I would wait for the price to drop.
