The Neo Geo was a console released by SNK in 1990, featuring a 16/32-bit 68000 CPU with an additional 8-bit Z80 CPU and custom 24-bit GPU chipset. An arcade-based console considerably powerful for a home system at the time, the Neo Geo was notoriously expensive (costing $650 at launch) and aggressively marketed as an Advanced Entertainment System (AES).

Analogue Interactive have crafted a consolized MVS using Walnut wood. According to the firm, the material (100% percent hand picked Walnut) - offers "a quality and durability that cannot be found practically or economically in plastic or metal".

    They go on to say...

"One of the problems with plastic enclosures is they often flex when cartridges are inserted into them, providing an uneven or rough cartridge insertion/removal that results in frustration. This problem is solved by the flexible durability that wood offers. We are able to fine tune the cartridge slot to function as smoothly as possible - so when you insert or remove a cartridge in our Consolized MVS, it's the real thing". Along with the new look the console is compatible with both HD and SD televisions, features a new BIOS, a rechargeable battery, multi-voltage power supply and controller ports that accommodate "every Neo Geo joystick and controller."

lol, I know, I wrote the Neo Geo page on Giant Bomb.

I don't see why they would do that to an arcade board, it seems like a waste.
