It's finally coming stateside on the 25th of September this year. They will have a Happy Home Designer bundle with the smaller new 3DS that comes with the game pre loaded, an amiibo card, and 2 plate sets.

I'm surprised there was enough demand for this, and that they actually listened!

Personally still fine with my non-new 3DS. Nintendo has yet to convince they're trying anything with the New 3DS and some kewl faceplates probably won't change that.

Had they released both the large and smaller versions at the same time, I might have gone with the smaller one.

Yep, totally getting this. Now to look at all the cool Japanese faceplates so I could end up importing one...

damnit i have the big one :(
