Mario Kart 3D, coming soon?

How is it when switching from the touch screen to the 3d screen? Any discombobulation?

How smudge or scratch-proof is the screen? 
Will the touch screen "yellow" with age?  My DS Lite has. 
Can I buy games over the internet?  Will they be stored on the flash card?  Can I use the flash card in other 3DS's?  If I replace my 3DS do I have to repurchase the old downloaded games?   
How long is the cable for the AC adapter?

i apologise for being a week late its been a crazy week :( . but im going to take a brake from doing tick tack toe 500 times( learning game AI is a pain) to give my quick preview
just to say we didnt get any chance to ask questions as people there were mainly stage hands and booth babes not really any one from nintendo so all i can answer is my expeariance and try to answer as meany as i can.

 1 to me the black one looked more appealing as its just simple and sleak where as the cosmic blue one seemed odd that theres is a black segment around the screen. but the rest of the blue was more eyecatching
2 to me the 3d was not too  confusing  once you find your sweet spot it feels just fine. the sweet spot however can change for each game,  kid icarus  i was strate there it was easy to find where as  with legend of zelda it took a couple of   Minutes to find it. however my friend that i was with did not like the 3d and played them in 2d so i guess it depends on each person
 3 with the games i played i would say no. i played legend of zelda,kid icarus and street fighter. for street fighter it was nice was definately something that is a nice addon but not nessisary but this is gen 1 software eventualy people will probaly go more crazy with it at the moment i think there not going crazy to not be like the virtual boy.
 4 i played through the street fighter demo from start to finish in 3d looked at least just below the console counter part still looked good  especially  seeing as its a portable game i would say it looks a lot crisper than a psp wich i always thought that the outlines on psp looked bad but this doesent seem to have that
 5 i dont know what to say about the analog disk. it feels like  the psp nub but theres something off about it, it could just be the choice in rubber it feels odd to the touch but yea if you played the psp you know what to expect a slightly improved nub
 
@DeeGee: this was the only question that i actual got to ask as we were given a short time and no one there was really knowledgeable on the subject. but the hot lady brought it up fist soo XD basically there not   ready to give a difinitive date on mario kart other than coming soon. the lady said she had seen it and looking forward to it and then directed me to a demo (none playable) and yea looks like mario kart classic level design and the like its gonna be pretty fun.
 
@PenguinDust: the screen does smudge with finger prints as can be expected. were not allowed to scratch it but I CAN CONFIRM (giant bomb exclusive) the 3ds can survive a drop onto a hard wood floor as both me and my mate dropped one each. in the same vain fairly water proof as we were soaked because it was raining for hours before hand . they were not showing off the store probaly because it isnt a feature that will be there at launch but im assumeing it will work like the dsi and able to save virtual console and 3dsware games to a sd card.
 
@falco_eagle:@lilarchie232: i can confirm as some one that wares glasses that you can use the 3ds with glasses.......making it kinda silly calling it glassesless :P
 
@Dany:  the answer simply is yes looking from one to the other can cause you to loose the sweet spot and  mess up the vision but most games such as street fighter and kid icarus  dont require you to look at the  touch screen much  mainly used as extra buttons and another analog stick
