How is that they are exactly a gig, or exactly half a gig? I'm assuming those are the different sizes of flash memory available in 3DS carts, but does the download need to like emulate the size of the cart or something? I just refuse to believe that every 3DS game is using every single MB of space on each cart.

I just purchased a 16Gb card, so that should take care of things for a while. Not that I plan to buy games digitally.

I still have 2Gb in mine, despite having 49 VC games.

I'll be buying that DL version of Animal Crossing; JO.

I don't see the point in paying so much more for digital games, it's completely anti-consumer.. But Animal Crossing is one I'll probably fork out the money for. That's a game that needs to be digital, as far as I'm concerned.

Seems weird. Did they just dump the roms and not bother to strip the junk files?

Animal Crossing is a game that makes sense to have on the device at all times. But a whole gigabyte. Damn, I'm not looking forward to downloading that.

I bought a 32GB SD card for my 3DS for a little over $20 recently, so this stuff ain't really a thang.

You can buy a 32 GB SD card for a fraction of what Sony is charging for their Vita cards.

I think that's going to be addressed very soon with the launch of Nintendo Network, in the meantime keep ya 3DS safe and have your s/n written down safely.

Nintendo will never tell you this, but on some occasions they do make exceptions...

I have nearly 50 DL games, I'd be heart broken!. The current system cannot be right, Nintendo must know this.

i was actually surprised that my 3DS XL came with a memory card at all.

only got Pushmo, Kirby, and a couple demos on there so i don't think it's very full yet.
