The successor to the SNES was Nintendo's entry in the fifth home console generation, as well as the company's first system designed specifically to handle polygonal 3D graphics.

Are japanese N64 controllers compatible with American systems?

I am in search of a controller for my Nintendo 64 and was thinking of importing a japanese Hori Pad Mini, which sorta looks like a gamecube controller. Before shelling out $60, I need to know if they are compatible with NTSC systems. Google didn't give any answers.

I see no reason why it wouldn't be.
