    I just bought a Nintendo ds Lite! (game suggestions PLZ!)

    As the title says i just caved in and bought a Lite. I got Professor Layton and Pandoras Box and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for it. Love both those games but i wanted to know what else i should get. Also, keep in mind im a 20 yr old male so lets stay away from suggestions such as Barbie and Nintendogs.

    @Rallier: Well with the ds id guess im going to be into the Professor layton/ puzzle sort of stuff more than anything else. also platforming games as long as there done well. Not really into beat/music games ( i dont have the coordination for them :P)

    @mrfizzy: The layton games are fairly unique structure wise and there are no game really like it (well there is a match stick puzzle game but you'll probably never want to do a match stick puzlle once you get to the end of that game^^) but as far as adventure games go i would recommend Hotel Dusk and Sun Flower and Rain if you did not play it on the PS1, you should be able to get Hotel Dusk for really cheap. I'm not really a platformer fan myself but Henry Hatsworth might please you, it's a mix of puzzle/action and platforming. There are a ton of great games on the DS so much that it is hard to keep track of them all and there are a lot of earlier DS gems that you can now buy for bargain prices.

    Any of the Phoenix Wright games are great.  Elite Beat Agents and Rhythm Heaven can cover your weird rhythm game itch.  As for platformers, there's New Super Mario Bros.

    If you like both genres (puzzle and platforming) you could always take the plunge with Henry Hatsworth.

    The World Ends With You has incredile (and insane) gameplay plus a cool story in my opinion so I highly recommend that.

    Since you loved Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, I'd suggest also getting the first game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village. I think it's an excellent game. Jeff Gerstmann agrees and thinks Professor Layton is a classy role model for this generation.
     
    I just rented Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I'm only like 15 minutes deep so far, but already it seems like a quality game, and it's considered the best DS game of 2009 by Brad and the Giantbomb crew.
     
    Okay, that's enough linking for me. But dude, why the Nintendogs hate? 20 year old guys can't like puppies? You, bro, break my heart with that kind of talk.

    Lol, thanks for all the links. Ill be picking up the first Professor Layton asap and im currently bidding on GTA on ebay. Really did not realise there were this many good games. And i am sorry for the Nintendogs hate, shall be rectified in future.
