The Nintendo DS is a handheld featuring two screens, one of which is a resistive touchscreen. Four different models are available: the original DS, the DS Lite, the DSi, the DSi XL.

" I'm buying a DSi later this year, what games I should get? "This is a very good starting point:
However, it would help if you told us what genres or franchises you normally like. RPG, platform, shooting, adventure, puzzle, strategy, sim - you know what I mean.
" Well, definitely Scribblenauts. I also really like Elite Beat Agents, but I can't guarantee everyone will. "Elite Beat Agents is a lot of fun and a great multiplayer game - I have 2 copies of the game (both were on clearance - lucky me) for the full experience :-)
" @BadSniper52 said:yeah, that list basically sums it up. but since it's a huge list, i'll just give you a few of my faves from each genre. there are a ton of awesome RPGs on the DS, but if you like the genre you have to play castlevania: dawn of sorrow (personally i think its better than the latter 2 castlevania games on the ds.) also, chrono trigger is still really good. if you like strategy games, final fantasy tactics a2 and shin megami tensei: devil survivor are excellent choices (devil survivor will blow your mind if you're a big endurance run/persona fan.) my favorite straight-up action game on the ds is gta: chinatown wars. then of course there are the prerequisite ds titles that everybody should play at least once, like new super mario bros, mario kart ds, and tetris ds. hope that helps." It would also be slack of me not to mention that I have also enjoyed Lunar Knights, Hotel Dusk, Phoenix Wright series and Dragonball Origins on the DS. And I agree with the Elite Beat Agents sentiment already going here. Unfortunately I dont have a lot of DS titles so I couldnt offer too much advice.
Did I mention earlier about Professor Layton though? Yeh, must have lol.

" Professor Layton!! "I second both of these points. I also reccomend Chrono Trigger.
