I'm going on a trip tomorrow and am about to head up to either wal-mart or gamestop to buy some DS games. I never really keep up with too many DS released aside from a few major ones, can anyone suggest any good RPGs or any other games that would be good for a 9 hour drive?

Any of the Pokemon games can keep you entertained for a really really long time. They are addicting and that is the type of game you want on a long trip.

Yeah, that's a good one. The Dragon Quest games will as well. FF4 if you haven't played it.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village.  Not an RPG, but still an excellent game.  Probably my favorite game for the DS.  Don't remember how long it is, exactly, but it should last you for a bit.

I also am going on a trip and am thinking of buying a DSi now. Personally I'm leaning towards GTA: Chinatown Wars, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Professor Layton, and New Super Mario Bros. I think if I do buy a DSi this week, I'm gonna go with the first two.
