I ordered it because it is an RPG, it sounds very good and it was cheap. Yes, it is in Japanese and no, I can't read Japanese. However, I have found a full translation to work off and if I get a flashcard, there is also a patch which translates the game text within the game (that is cool).
Also a cheap import and in Japanese. This is a Square-Enix RPG, so it should be good. Unlike Soma Bringer though, there appears to be no translation around, so I may struggle with it.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was close to being my favourite game on the GBA. I played near 1000 hours on it. I am going to love this and I believe it will consume me. It was hard to resist getting it earlier, but at this reduced price, I wasn't going to miss it. TBS games like this are amongst my favourite type of games. Plus, the characters in Final Fantasy are just adoreable.
They are jetting their way across the sea and I should get them in about a week.

Heh, i saw these mini DS being sold in gachapon machines in Japan. they also had mini pokemon cartriges. why you'd want that...
I honestly haven't bought a new game for my DS since GTA, and i havent popped it in yet. I bought Chinatown Wars to support a "mature" game on the DS, plus the amazing reviews it got.

It will be interesting to see how our views differ on Soma Bringer, plus MB ordered it as well.

I am figuring you may need one of those 'special' mushrooms to play that game. It averaged 46/100 on Metacritic and the best at 60 described it as a "decent platformer". That doesn't mean of course that it will suck completely, but it isn't much of a challenge for Mario. Sorry for the downer of a post :-(
