Nintendo was founded in Kyoto, Japan in 1889 as a manufacturer of hanafuda playing cards. The company went through several small niche businesses before becoming a video game company.
I think the new Zelda looks pretty cool. Though Wind Waker was the only Zelda I played through completely, so I'm not aching for a formula shift like the general consensus.

Same, reminded me of a juiced up Oot era game, so it should be pretty good and nostalgic. They have lots of time to polish what looks like something already impressive, bar the controls

The way I see it, if it ain't broke, why fix it? Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 have both been critically acclaimed, with the second one not mixing up the formula very much and only adding new levels. Nintendo hasn't screwed up Zelda yet, I don't think they'll start now.
