Nintendo Has Greenpeace Seeing Red

It scored 1.4 out of 10 because it doesn't offer voluntary recycling, it did not reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, and it did not eliminate its use of harmful polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

The good thing about Nintendo though is their products last a long time.  Plus most people never throw away their old systems or games.  They keep or sell them.    

Question is, does Nintendo actually care?

Is this new? Because I remember a similar story from a few months back.

This isn't new, I don't think.

Greenpeace is always ragging on Nintendo. Screw Greenpeace. They're as bad as PETA.

Eh, it's bad press still, even if people here don't care about environmental issues, many do.
 
Yes, Greenpeace takes stuff too far sometimes, but they have a valid point sometimes.  Just cause they can be kooks sometimes, they still present valid points other times, you can't just throw out everything because it comes from an agency you don't like.  It's not like Nintendo isn't capable, Sony and MS both score much higher by Greenpeace than Nintendo does.
