    Zwei (pronounced "tsvai") is the German word for two, so wouldn't the proper title for the game be just "Panzer Dragoon Zwei"?  When I see it right now, it reads like saying "Panzer Dragoon II: Two," which is kind of silly.

    Although the titling is certainly odd, that is indeed the name used on at least the North American box art, which I just verified in case I needed to alter the article's title. Sometimes it's just wise to not search for rationality in a game's title when there really isn't any.

    @Pepsiman: I guess what I'm saying is that the "II" and the "Zwei" are the same thing, but I'm not too attached one way or the other.

    @coacroach: Yup.  Really.  w = v and z = ts.

    It's probably a Japanese game. They make really weird titles which usually involve butchering one or more languages.
