Overview
The fourteenth annual PAX East, and the fifty-fourth PAX overall, was the thirteenth to take place at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
The guest speaker for the traditional "Storytime Session" (opening keynote) was Matthew "MatPat" Patrick, known best for Game Theory on YouTube.

The Omegathon
The Omegathon is a semi-annual tournament held at PAX that pits 20 or more randomly selected attendees in a four-day marathon of games that span the spectrum of the gaming universe. After each round, some participants are eliminated. Each year, the final game is held secret until moments before the final two Omeganauts enter battle. At PAX East, the tournament features teams of two that stay together through to the end of the Omegathon. The winner gets an all expense paid trip to a PAX of their choice.
