    Overview

    The fifth annual PAX South, the thirty-seventh PAX overall, will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

    The guest speaker for the traditional "Storytime Session" (opening keynote) has not been announced yet.

    Registration for PAX South 2018 began on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM CDT.

    The Omegathon

    The Omegathon is a tournament held at PAX that pits 20 randomly selected attendees in a three day marathon of games that span the spectrum of the gaming universe. After each round, some participants are eliminated. Each year, the final game is held secret until moments before the final two Omeganauts enter battle. The winner at PAX South receives a trip to any other PAX in the following year's time.
