Anyone here know what this is?
I just bought Grim Fandango from a 'Mom and Pop' Video game store that sells old games.
I am running Vista Home Premium 64bit and and all i get when i run the setup from the disc is D:\INSTALL\SETUP.EXE.
It tells me that my version of windows is not compatible.... is there any way/patch around this?
right click on the .exe file => properties => compatibility tab => "compatibility mode" => drop down list => run as XP

Im not sure why it isnt working for you since it seems to work for everyone else using the site. Sadly I cant test it though since I no access currently no Vista, a 64bit o/s or Grim Fandango CD's (at a friends house). Have you made sure its the updated launcher that is linked here: http://quick.mixnmojo.com/files/GrimSetup1.0.exe
Sadly there is no instructions on how to run it but most likely you simple put in CD 1 and run GrimSetup1.0.exe. If it dosent work then sadly I cant help anymore since I have nothing to test on.
I've got the game running on Vista so I know that's not the problem, maybe because you're running 64bit.
I'm just taking a wild stab here but could you try installing it in a virtual environment? (Virtual OS that is).
