I'm looking for a music player that has a low CPU/RAM usage that can run on WINDOWS 7 64 bit?
i've heard of MXPLAY something like that, but I'm not sure if it can run on 64 bit.
any suggestions?

The PC (Personal Computer) is a highly configurable and upgradable gaming platform that, among home systems, sports the widest variety of control methods, largest library of games, and cutting edge graphics and sound capabilities.
Anyone Know of any Low CPU/RAM usage music players?
Can´t you just something like VLC ?
I use Zune and despite all the animation that goes on (which can be turned off) it uses significantly less RAM than iTunes does.
I'd suggest you not worry about it. The overhead for something like Winamp has got to be completely insignificant these days. I used to run Winamp in the background playing Quake 2 on a Pentium 2 300MHz.
You also don't need to worry about running a 64-bit version of an application like Winamp.
" I use to use winamp back in the day, and it probably has a pretty low overhead. "It's probably higher if you use the new skins, but it does have the old skin system too if you like.
If you aren't a 486, quit worrying so much about RAM/CPU usage lol.
iTunes or Winamp is what I use, generally iTunes now.
lol not sure if its true, but that does sound funny lol
but yea I've never come across VLC as being a low usage media player.
I would highly recommend Media Monkey because the CPU/RAM usage is very minimal, it has a nice slick look to it, and it also plays just about every single type of music file imaginable. Oh, and it's got a useful built-in converter (I don't know if that is standard for music players nowadays, but either way, it's a good feature).
And a glimpse of the customisation possible.
My last comment's task manager shows it use 10 MB RAM with the default theme and a crapload of mp3s in the playlist...
" http://www.foobar2000.org/foobar2k is a pretty good program, i use it and it doesn't use up alot of RAM (can't say about CPU speed, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't exactly eat that either.)I just stick to Winamp though."
