I want to know what is the best registry cleaner out there. I'm talking about the most efficient, thorough and most importantly, reliable. I want to get rid of all the crap in my registry (and there's a lot!) without screwing it up. Thanks.

Yea, CCleaner is definitely a useful tool that anyone who isn't a complete idiot should use.

There's only been a couple of times I've  disabled deletion of a registry entry with ccleaner, and it's never hurt any of the computer's I've used it on, so I'm pretty satisfied.

CCleaner is the best free registry cleaner available in my opinion. If you want something better you can check out the registry cleaner offered by Uniblue on their website but it's somewhere around like $20.
