    EDIT: Found what I need.

    Hey guys,

I want to get a new motherboard, CPU, ram, and possibly a power supply if mine isn't sufficient for the new stuff (I don't clock anything, I just run stuff at recommended settings). I'm not looking to upgrade my video card.

I'm trying to find stuff on Canada Computers as I live right by it and that's where I bought my stuff in the past. My budget is 500-600 dollars.

    Currently my system has:

    Motherboard: P5Q-E

    CPU: Q6600 @ 2.4GHz

RAM: 4GB some old ass ocz ddr2

GPU: GeForce GTX 560 (not looking to upgrade this)

    Power: Enermax 620W

    The standard build is:

    • 4670k
    • Asus Z86-Pro or Plus
    • 2x4GB or 2x8GB DDR3-1600+

Your PSU may be fine, but you need to check your connectors to make sure it supports 8pin EPS, 24pin ATX, etc.

you'll see a nice performance bump upgrading to a more modern processor with 8 gb of ram. i wouldn't do anything less than an i5 or AMD equivalent with 8 gigs or ram,
