Quake, though Ill try both... I really am not up for a cartoon shooter especially with the Battlefield name. What are people gonna think now... From Battlefield 2 to Heros? WTF!!!

Both will be great. But Quake is nothing new - its the same old game, and its time has passed.

I think Battlefield Heroes will be the more popular game.

Right now I'm more looking forward to BF: Heroes. It looks like there's more to do in it.

Since they're both free, I don't see why I couldn't try both. I haven't seen much of BF Heroes, but Quake looks more enticing to me.

BF Heroes would appeal to more of the mmo-style crowd I would think, what with the cash shop type stuff.

I'm more interested in Quake Live. It looks like it'll appeal more to the hardcore set, and its great since pretty much EVERYONE should be able to run it at this point.

Has anyone here gotten in on the beta tests for either game? I haven't. I put in my email for Quake Live though.

Probably Quake.  Seems like it would better in this context.

I have a feeling that one is going to be *really* unsuccessful and the other is going to be massively popular. And I'm leaning towards Quake being the lesser of them.

I`m looking more foward to BF:Heroes but, I really dislike alot of what EA does, so we'll have to see on this one.

Oh and also what VAC said, EA just basically stole the whole style from TF2, so, I`m leaning towards either game now : P

im thinking quake, to be honest, the new BF heroes just looks like a mock off the Team Fortress 2 stuff... i'd rather dice made a full version game rather then this project myself

DICE had the cartoon style before Team Fortress 2's style was revealed. So they did not rip it off, although it seems that way.

Anyways, from what I've heard, Quake Live isn't very noob friendly. The skilled players dominate the others.

I do appreciate a fast shooter...I've been playing nothing but TF2 for the past few months, and its generally a very slow shooter.

Since Quake Live still looks a bit too much like the ealier Quake series I'll have to stick with Battlefield Heroes. It feels refreshing and new, that's what I need at the moment.

Battlefield Heroes interests me a lot more...I haven't played a Quake game in a long time (I don't count Quake 4) and I've always loved the BF series. Plus it just looks awesome!

I'm very much the same and to be honest Quake Live looks rather bad, atleast Battlefield Heroes has that TF2 cartoon design style going for it aswell which should be fun!

Yeah, same here! The graphics don't really look updated either, while Battlefield Heroes is completely re-done. Never played a game in cell-shaded style, so it's a whole new experience as well.
