I have Just Cause 1 and 2. Far Cry 1, 2, 3, and Blood Dragon. Saints Row 2 and 3. And, of course Minecraft.

What Open World Game Should I Get?
Saints Row IV, it's the daily on steam until tomorrow, I liked 3 better, but 4 is pretty close.
Sleeping Dogs and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor are both well worth playing.
Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Batman: Arkham City, Burnout Paradise, Fallout: New Vegas, Mafia 2, Saint's Row 4 and Sleeping Dogs are all fantastic open world games that came out last generation.
Soapbox Rant: Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is pretty fantastic when you're just running around the open world stabbing orcs but the mission design has serious issues, the story is atrociously boring and every character is either a completely generic archetype with no twist or is slightly original but wholly unlikeable.
Saint's Row IV is the best in the series in my opinion. You could also hold out for GTA V which is equally fantastic.
Skyrim, Sleeping Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV are also fantastic. There are other great games with open worlds but very few have worthwhile open world content. Skyrim is probably the best to get if you want good side content but none of it as good as the main plotlines for any of the other games I've mentioned.
ACIV is not a great port and requires a high end PC to run at anything close to 60 fps with high settings.
Saint's Row IV is what I would recommend. It plays better than GTA V or SRIII and is better written that SRIII to boot.
Sleeping Dogs is definitely a good pick especially if you find the fighting in most of these games really bland. It's nice to have a combo system and feels as good as the Arkham games when it comes to the fighting.
For story GTA5 really does deliver and is the most amazing 3rd person open world game visually, but any hand to hand combat is laughable.
@klonecc45: I can't remember whether it was Ryan or Vinny (or both) that would refer to that game exclusively as Sleepy Dogs. So it is now forever Sleeepy Dawgs in my brain.
