Since its inception in 2004, the Penny Arcade Expo has grown to be the largest gaming festival in North America. PAX Prime is held annually on Labor Day weekend in Seattle, while PAX East takes place in Boston in the Spring. A third PAX, in Australia, was announced in 2012 and will take place in July 2013.
