    Overview

    Penny is the niece of Inspector Gadget. Strong-willed and intelligent for her young age, she and her dog Brain often assist her uncle without his knowledge. As Inspector Gadget is often oblivious and bumbling, he commonly stumbles across evidence or puts a stop to the current scheme of Dr. Claw only after Penny's actions put things in just the right place for him to find. However, Penny always works from behind the scenes, allowing her uncle to take the full credit.
