Overview
Pepper's Puzzles is a picross game available on Steam and Itch.io, first released in 2017. Grouped into categories, the player can solve up to 240 standard "Classic" picross puzzles or assemble two larger mosaics one 15x15 panel at a time. There is also a time trial mode where players must quickly solve a series of randomized puzzles below a certain time limit as well as a workshop where players can import user-generated content or export their own creations.
The game uses the "Wario" style picross ruleset (as seen in the Mario Picross games) where players aren't immediately penalized for errors, though this can mean messing up the puzzle if unchecked errors are allowed to accumulate. Instead, they are rated solely on the amount of time taken, with three stars up for grabs per puzzle for completing them under a par time.
