Gameplay: 8/10 Graphics: 8/10 Sound: 10/10 Lifeline: 6/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 If there's one thing that can be said about movie endorsed games, it's that they will more often than not, be unworthy of your time. This however, can not be said this time around for Peter Jackson's King Kong: The official game of the movie (and longest game title). Based upon the widely acclaimed movie of 1933, the new film produced by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) is set to be another blockbuster smash in the cin...

Movie license game done almost right 0

Time for another little game review, this time it is Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie turn. Short summary, its a good game. It is not great and it is not another The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (i.e. awesome), but what the game does it does quite well. At the beginning of the game you arrive in the role as Jack on Skull island, things go a bit awry and you are left on the island to do some exploration. In terms of controls the game goes quite a minimal...

    In 2010, it's... passable. 0

I think Peter Jackson makes some pretty good films. I was interested in the fact that he, as someone who liked video games himself, promised to make his King Kong tie-in video game better than the heap of poorly designed games that we were used to seeing. I was also intrigued by Michel Ancel working with the Ubisoft studios to help develop the game. I had never played Beyond Good and Evil, but I knew that something worth playing was there. Ultimately, I chose to forego the game until I saw...

Unsatisfying game but it does give you an easy 1000 points! 0

I will be honest; I bought King Kong for the achievement points. I didn't have a lot of them in my profile and I wanted to have a quick boost, so I immediately searched for King Kong as I knew it was one of the easiest source of achievement points on the Xbox 360, and I was right! Or rather, they were right, they as in the people who played it before me and mentioned how short and easy the game was. The story of the game follows the story of the movie of the same name (well, except without the ...

King Kong DS: A Review By KingreX32 0

Ubisoft Montpellier, Ubisoft Casablanca, and Phoenix Studio and published by Ubisoft. It was released on November 17 2005. King Kong on the DS is a FPS survival adventure game, like its Xbox 360 counterpart the game has the same plot as the movie. You are a team of people on thee way to a mysterious island to film a movie. While on the island they run into some crazy natives and the main character of the movie there supposed to be filming is kidnapped. Through out most of the game you play as J...

    Only Worth Achievements 0

This is a very short review for King Kong: The official game of the movie, simply because it has been a while since I have played it. I picked this game up probably sometime in late 2006 or early 2007. I beat the game, but it was painful. I did hear there were easy achievements and i thought maybe it would be a little fun. Let me correct that, this game is terrible in my opinion. Why is this game terrible?Game PlayVery frustrating. Half of the time you will be solving dumb puzzles like setting g...

    No Replay Value 0

I think that this game is great! but only the first play through. Then you have all the achievments and there is no other real reason to keep playing the game. Another reason why this game only recieves 2 and a half stars is because I dont belive that It captures the greatness of the movie enough. Although it is great for being one of the first 360 games....
