As many of you guys probably know, Miyamoto announced he was working on Pikmin 3, what would you want for it? Different Pikmin types? More Characters/Levels?

idk what i want to see in this game.  i've seen suggestions that i don't want to see in the game (like stealing bulbmin, takes out the purpose of the other pikmin) but im sure whatever nintendo throws at us, as long as it's still in the bounds of pikmin, i'll be happy.

I agree, uber-excited.  Pikmin is one of my all time favorit e series. But I think this should be in the Pikmin franchise forum.

what i didn't even know there was pikmin 2 lol how did that get passed me 

Oh wait, Overlord is already going to be better than Pikmin 3 and it came out a year ago.

No more new species! Red, Blue and Yellow were all we needed. Purple and White were both useless. Sprays were useless. Give me a time limit.

I think if they make it like the first game it will be enjoyable.

I really miss Pikmin, it was the first game I had when I bought a gamecube a good few years back, now I have a ps3 and I dislike the Wii, I just wish I could jam the disc in and play it on the ps3 : P
But the one thing that was fixed in Pikmin 2 was the time factor, but I`m sure Nintendo will pull out something good.

Online competition, naturally.

I just started playing Pikmin, part of the New Play Control series. This game is amazing. The first few minutes I was wondering if I was gonna like it, and then I just became addicted. I played a while through the game and then re-started to ensure I hadn't missed anything and make up for some lost time. A lot of people don't like the time restraint, but I don't mind it. Any sort of gameplay element that raises the difficulty is cool with me.
 
I can't wait for Pikmin 2 (NPC) and I haven't even finished the first one.
