Dude ya I feel ya. The 3rd party games on the 360 have so much more passion in them...

Well the third-party games can't exactly be blamed on Sony, but I can see why the PS2 is looked at as a better console for other reasons.

I definitely had more fun playing the PS2 than my PS3 or Xbox 360.

Me too. I think it's because of the market competition, the focus with graphics in this generation, the economic climate and prices. It divided games among more platforms, and with longer development cycles and more expensive, what translated in a worse overall experience.    "

To be fair though the PS2 has over 1000 games, I do still play my PS2, in fact I might just go play it now.

The ps2 had some of my favourite console games ever (the exception being Perfect Dark) like Snake Eater, Wipeout fusion and Killzone.

Only one I agree with is final fantasy since 13 was such a joken ditto with mgs actually as well.

PS2 honestly looks cooler than the PS3. I like the more squarish look compared to PS3 looking like...smooth tar. Ps2...mine died on me today..but it lasted for like how long? Over 8 years? Will the PS3 last that long? Most likely not

I understand, but up until just this year, a lot of developers were complaining that the developers kits were hard to work with.

I've played more awesome games on my ps3 than I ever did on ps2 so I outright disagree with you.  

The PS2 didn't really have any competition did it? There was the Dreamcast the Gamecube and the Xbox with the PS2 having the higher sales and attach rate so the PS2 got all the third-party support. Now the Wii has the most sales and the Xbox 360 has the higher attack rate so developers are wary of spending time on the PS3. That being said the PS2 didn't have Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Gran Turismo 5, so there is still plenty of fantastic games that will become classics in the future.
