Well my good ol Dual shock is about to give in. I am on the search of something new. Wile searching I found three very interesting things
One...
Two
And
Three
The first one sort of has my interest how ever. I want peoples experience with off brand stuff. Can anyone recommend a controller to replace my dual shock one? Chances are I will not be getting one of these "Crazy" Ones. I just do not really have the money to get a full dual shock one at this time.
PlayStation 3

The PlayStation 3 (often abbreviated PS3) is the third home video game console created and released by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
Controller time!
" WTF are those other two? Is it supposed to be like a Wiimote? "Not fully sure. But I can understand the mouse one.
1 doesn't look ergonomic. And needs to use a USB slot? No thanks.
2&3 are just Wii style controllers but without the necessary simplifications. They don't look easy to use.
I think getting another Dual Shock is the best solution.

" There is literally no reason why you shouldn't buy another dualshock. "I am on a limited budget for a wile....
It is an obvious rip off of the 360 controller.

I guess your best hope is to look for sales on Amazon or maybe Newegg for a Dual Shock.
Look at the PS3 Turbo Fire Controller. It looks a lot like an Xbox 360 controller, so if you prefer those controllers you may like this one.
i agree. 3rd party stuff tends to wear down or break to often to make the price worth it. it is normally cheaper and better just to pay upfront. but if you are going the cheap route if you have an old dualshock 2 you can buy a USB plug at radioshack that will let it work with a ps3 to hold you over. (i assume this is for dualshock 3 even tho you say dualshock 1 in your post)" @The_Laughing_Man said:

and amazon has it for $10 off.
I would stay away for from 3rd party controllers. Get the Dualshock 3 and pick up these triggers. They make the controller feel so much more comfortable.

I third this. But buy the triggers from a store if you can, they came out to about $8 from amazon when they're half that at gamestop." @gla55jAw said:

I would buy this just to play PSOne titles.
That first SplitFish has the right idea, but does it all wrong. I expect MS to come out with something similar to that (except with a layout more closely resembling current 360/PS3 controllers) as a counterpart for Natal later on down the line.
That second SplitFish is a straight up cheater's controller if playing against other analog stick users online. Completely unfair advantage. That's why they don't allow 360 users to go up against PC users on Live (with the exception to a few specific games). Don't buy that one unless you're of low moral fiber, or don't plan on going online. But god damnit more PC mice need rumble!
