Ok so my new 80 gb wont  recognize my Hp camara or my ipod :(
Yesterday i wanted to transfer some photos to my ps3, so i connected my camara via Usb a messege pops up saying:
Unkownk device connected or something like that, but below the  the Photo icon in the xmb there is no  usb device :(
So i thought ok... my camara must be broken,so  i try and connect my old ipod( which worked perfectly with my lunch 60 gb) to the ps3 and the same thing happend, the messege pops up but no icon under music :(:(

But my usb keyboard works fine on my ps3, is there any option i must enable before connecting usb periphericals?

I don't think so, its a bit of a lottery actually, I've always used the card slots for photo's and my iPod has never worked with my launch 60GB. There's nothing wrong with your machine, probably just firmwire blocks.

It could be the memory stick/usb. One of my memory sticks won't be recognized anymore, since it got old and is pretty shitty quality as it is.

So it is most likely the USB drive or card you are trying to put into your PS3 that is not working. If you could use a different USB stick to transfer files then it should work, not a problem with your PS3 or your iPod/camera.

I do have a slim, and as for the 3k, screw that lol. Sony needs to stop focusing on making new PSP models and instead focus on new games for it! The only huge game I see coming out for PSP is Resistance Retribution, which will rock.

Agreed lol, can't wait for PSP2, so many things they could do to make it even better (ie touch screen, second analog, etc).
