Should I re-gift?

Regift it or use it as toilet paper, it's the same really.

If you've enjoyed JRPGs in the past I say give it a whirl. There's definitely some fun to be had there (even if you don't make it to the end).
 
If you have no interest in these type of games whatsoever then sure, gift it to someone else who might have more fun with it.

I would give it a shot.  Some people really enjoyed it.

Honestly, I don't see why there's so much hate for FFXIII. Yes, it's not the greatest game to be released this year. So what? There's nothing offensively bad about it. Re-gift it if you want, or you could... Y'know. Play it. Considering you got it for free and you won't lose anything by at least giving it a try.

If you have a massive amount of patience, give it a go.

How about you try it so when someone mentions FFXIII you can say first hand whether it was bad or good.

Final Fantasy XIII is a great game. Fuck the haters.

You should try it first man. Why ask for opinions that don't necessarily correspond to your own? And yeah, it's a good game.

You should thank him or her.  Final Fantasy 13 has one of my favorite battle systems ever in a JRPG.  

I really don't see why people hate this game so much. It's not the best game ever... Hell it's not even the best Final Fantasy ever but I still found it really enjoyable. If you can tolerate the associated JRPG tropes you should definitely give it a go. Just remember to play the game post-2 hour-tutorial.

If you have 40-60 hours to devote to a good but not great game keep it.  If your time is scarce then think about about gifting it or whatever.  But its a gift so take that into consideration. 

The game is sort of bland if you skip all the cutscenes, and it is really, really annoying if you don't. You still need to play it, though. That is an important factor in forming your own opinion about a game and you can't honestly love/hate on a game if you haven't played it.

As someone who also got it for Christmas, but is enjoying it, I'd say give it a try. Then again, this year for me has been really dry for new video games so I may just be deprived

It's not that bad of a game. At least, I don't think so. I really enjoyed it at least.

I think it can't be all that bad, then again I have yet to play it.
