I have always been a hater of Sony, no offense. But since my mate got a PS3 ive had the erge to purchase a PS3 and MGS4, i think its going to happen soon.

Do you PS3 fans think this is a good choice.

Well obviously people who own a PS3 are going to tell you it was a good choice. But personally, opinions aside, I think now would be a perfect time to get a PS3 with all the other games coming out soon.

And the bundle is worth it, if you can find it.

Go for it, but get some bengay to rub on it, for if it overheats on you.

if blu ray super high res flims interest you get a ps3, if not get a 360 by all means. cheaper, better games, better online, you get a headset out of the box, and you get to stream music and videos that are in your PC. (it does require a bit of networking though). i wouldn't be bothered about it not being wireless, just move your router to where your 360 is.

If the games coming out for the system interest you...like LBP, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 etc and there are old games you want to play (Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank etc) then buy it. I personally still don't think it's worth the money, but that's just me. Though if you want to play PS2 games on the PS3 then you better get one soon before BC is completely gone. I guess a messed up emulation is better than nothing.

PS3 was my first Sony console, really worth it, I was same as you, a 'Sony Hater' although I had no real reason to be; beyond the fact that I didn't think I wanted a PS3, but on a whim I got one and yeah; it is great fun.

Yo! This is a very good choice on your behalf, keep in mind, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the game to buy for the PlayStation 3 console.

Wait until the fall when the 40GB model is replaced by the 80GB

If you have the cash, yes it's a good buy.  You'll have some good games and the option of watching movies in Blu-ray (my current addiction).

Only get one if you can find an MGS4 80 gig bundle, because that'll let you play all the PS2 and PS1 games you probably didn't play if you hate Sony.

You can do that on PS3 as well, btw... I have all my computers in the house (laptops & Macs) linked to my PS3, it's pretty seamless, I can stream stuff there and I can also copy stuff from any of the computers onto my PS3s HDD, really useful. You can even stream YouTube videos there too.

Media Servers bro, just scan and it picks them up. Just google it a bit, and you will find some helpful guides and how tos on what to do and everything, its pretty simple really.

It's always a good time to get the console. Now better then ever, with the slew of good games coming out.
