I would really appreciate it. I don't really have a way to get any.

Can someone trade me some sort of water pokemon?
Speaking of water pokemon, when the hell do you get a fishing rod? I just beat the 4th gym and still no Old Rod... Did I miss it?

Honestly, I'd take everyone's level 5 Magikarp. I can get that shit to level 20 pretty damn fast.
Also the water pokemon so far are complete fucking garbage. Basculin is ugly and doesn't evolve, those tadpole things evolve into fucking disgusting monsters of ugly, the water money is by FAR the most retarded looking.
I am at the Elite 4 and haven't found any water pokemon worth even considering using. Its really dumb.
"Hey guys I'm looking for a level 100 Charizard, will trade for level 3 Magikarp and level 12 Jigglypuff. "
Oh god, this reminds me of the online trading.

A candle and icecream cone was all the developers had left for cute, ready your body for some ugly.

"I was having a similar problem until I decided to finally look at a pokemon list and went back to get one. I was using the water monkey since I picked Snivy, but it's not very good. The water pokemon I ended up using is Ducklett -> Swanna. Water/Flying type, very balanced stats in every respect and relatively strong for the main game.
It's all about Ducklett. But yeah, it sucks that you don't get the rod until after you beat the game.
" @Xeiphyer said:Yeah, I ended up just never using a water pokemon. I had no counter to fire types and they destroyed my Snivy and my scolipede. Luckily after your friend/rival guy's firepig evolves it becomes weak to flying attacks, so my bird made quick work of him after that. Also, totally can't remember any goddamn name?! I just finished off the elite 4 and the champion business. Pretty damn awesome! Though the elite 4 sucked in this game. 2 of them are weak to Dark or Ghost attacks, that seems really weird. But now I can use some cool water pokemon or something from another game :D
Also, about what I said in my original post, there totally is a guy who tries to sell you a magikarp for $500. Gangsta! I bought it. :P
