    Overview

Portable covers appears in games where we are able to move objects and use them as a cover points or simply having a protective shield, sometimes these cover objects can be destructible or even be a partial protection against enemy fire.
When a game features a cover system we are able to use the cover system on it by using the cover button, otherwise we have to take cover manually using our movement buttons and choosing the proper stance to be covered and of course lean to fire while in cover or even strafe around. When the portable cover isn't a shield or a movable obstacle, it can be a random object being used as a shield like a chair, or even using an human shield from a grabbed NPC.
