Games I've played within the last few years I remember something about

List items

  • Even though I wanted to punch the tv doing the stone guard memory game I thoroughly enjoyed the 70+ hours I put into the game.

  • If I had to nitpick the stealth and rhythm parts of the game weren't too great but everything else was.

  • I got about 40 hours in and then walked away for about year. When a game has alternate realities with missions specific to those realities jumping in after a long stretch isn't a good idea.

  • The completionist in me is why I haven't finished. If there's something speed runs have taught me it's that I don't have to kill every enemy. Still it's a great game.

  • Too much grinding made the last boss embarrassingly easy. Gameplay was tight and accessible but that just might be because I played FFVII before X.

  • Thwarted by memory card issues I stopped playing and started from the beginning years later. My fond memories were slapped in the face by the reality that this game had not aged well. I chucked most of the side missions and jumped into the final battle early to cross this game off the list and not for the enjoyment of finishing it.

  • I was feeling pretty good about the franchise coming off X. I got to about 20 hours in with still no idea if I was progressing my character until I kept getting flattened. At that point laziness got the better of me and I walked away.

  • Still the best football game.

  • Still the best boxing game although it's not like I've played a lot of boxing games. 3D Boxing, Ring King, and that's about it.

  • Thanks to this game I learned not to buy used games from gamestop. Not the most accessible game and probably not the first racing I should have played since Rad Racer.

  • I suck but it's still fun to watch the cpu fight itself.

  • Got the Japanese version of this on DC and it's one of the few fighting games where I have some skill as long as it's the computer.

  • Felt overwhelmed by all the modes. I am pretty good at throwing out random supers and then getting reamed.

  • I don't think I'll ever finish. The reviews said to beware of grinding out levels but I had no idea what I was in for.

  • Some serious latency issues.

  • Awesome game even though it's a giant time suck. My computer couldn't handle the game and so I still don't know what the game can be visually if played on a so-so 2001 computer.
