Getting My Game On In March Madness!

This has got to be the most exiting month of the year!!! First Heavy Rain was released... TODAY Final Fantasy 13 is released nationaly... Then God Of War 3... Then Pokemon!... HA-HA! Ahh, God Bless March. Oh, and my 21st B-Day is on the 21st of this month ironically! The first three games listed above are for a system that seemed out of my reach, the Sony PS3.
Check out my journey on preparing for this madness of march below. It has been a rediculouse experience much like Harold and Kumar Go To The White Castle only the white castle is the PS3 and im alone in my adventure.... Actually its nothing like that movie but the moral to the story at the end is verry simular.
PS3 SHORTAGE?...
So my PS3 Shortage experience has finally come to an end as of yesturday when BestBuy recieved a shippment of 9 consoles that was quickley devoured by consumers eagar to blow there tax money on an Ultimate System.
You may be thinking, "what? a PS3 Shortage? My local stores have a bunch in stock."
Well that may be true. Fortunately, this "PS3 Shortage Epidemic" is NOT everywhere. Unfortunately for me, who lives in Las Vegas Nevada (a place that you would think would never run out of PS3's), Was cleared out all of last week. As of yesturday when i got a system, i found that shortages all through the Vegas vally have been happening since Christmas! You can find more detail about my story along with others and all the different rumors that abrupted from this (such as talk about a new PS3 model coming out) below:

GOT THE SYSTEM!...NOW THE GAME
Equiped with my console, i was now ready to get the first EPIC Game of March Madness Heavy Rain. To further my PS3 experience delay, this happend to be the most underestimated game of the year.
I went to BlockBuster and they had it located all the way at the bottom of the shelve in the old releases as if they were hiding it. Dont blame them! I was told they only ordered 3 copies total for rental so the workers probably took them on a test run or wanted only the dedicated to get a copy... or something! They called all the BlockBusters in town and all were out so i was forced to go a night just with my PS3 and no game. I have to have heavy rain finished by friday (our SPT podcast recording day) and, at this time, FF13 was coming out the next day.
VICTORY!!!
While waiting on a oil change, i decided to use my spare time to check the availability of Heavy Rain. I would have checked other rental stores but i honestly didn't know any other local store that rented video games off the top of my head and google didn't help any.
I was told there was only one copy at a location not far from where i was at. Finally some sunshine! I swinged by the rental store and picked up that lonely copy. Shortly after that i even bought FF13 just for insurance of playing it.
I was under the impression that i were to get off work early but i got shafted and so now here i am... typing to waste some more time.. OH S#!% it is time now. Im leaving.
Ill hit yal up on how good Heavy Rain is. haha
