Generally if I'm throwing grenades it's cause I don't have line of site to the enemy, or it's a pre-emptive nade or something. If you throw a grenade in CSGO with the enemy in front of you you will die 100% of the time.
By framerate I'm guessing you mean how optimised the engine is? Cause you can always get more FPS (and resolution) by adding more power, but you can't do the same with anything else.
It's just not in anyone currently on staff's wheel house. You've gotta go outside of GB to find opinions from those kinda people.
It's kinda always been like that though. We had Dave who was the only guy who would do anything with any sort of remotely interesting games, but then he left and that fell to Drew, but now he's left. I miss Dave.
What? If there wasn't ranks in CSGO it'd be absolutely awful. The mixture of skill levels would be so messed up that half the players won't have fun cause it's far too easy and the other half won't have fun cause they're constantly dead.
I will most certainly try to learn a little of the language beforehand. I did know some bits and bobs at school but that's long since forgotten if I'm honest.
I guess I should have said in my experience because in all my long years I can't remember hearing anybody talking about their holiday in France haha.
What are people experiences flying to France from UK? I didn't really want to ferry it because of the 4+ hour drive beforehand but I could consider it I guess. Thanks guys!
I flew from Birmingham to CDG and its fine. It's pretty cheap to fly with Airfrance, and its like 50 minutes. CDG is a really poorly run airport though so coming back got a bit stressy but it's no real biggy.
@deathstriker: I'm playing Original Sin 2 on my laptop, Destiny 2 on my Xbox, Seamus Returns on my 3DS, and soon I'll be playing Mario Odyssey on my Switch. I'm looking forward to Wolfinstein, and maybe Batlefront 2. I have played all of this years big PS4 releases. The year has been full of good games, with a few more yet to come. You may not be having a good time playing games right, but myself and others are drowning in games.
@soulcake: the place we were looking at in Houlgate was some kind of holiday park that had little villas and things to do for the kids, swimming and play areas etc. I figured as you say it could make a good base of operations.... how is getting around France/Normandy? How is public transport? Is it a good idea to rent a car? Are there plenty of car rental places? Thanks for all your suggestions every one, keep em coming.
Generally public transport is much cheaper than here cause state owned (hell they own a large part of our rail lol) and/or subsidies, but I cannot comment on if it's reliable out in the sticks. Driving over seems like the easiest thing.
Also France is like the country we visit the 2nd most, after Spain, so I dunno where you got that from lol. I've only been to a small village in the Il-de-France and Paris, but both are wonderful. It was nice just being in the country for a bit, but it was a pretty expensive area.
Ordering from Amazon, a game will cost about £45, which is about $60. Ordering digitally and it'll be £55, which is over $70. Because apparently it costs them more to make a digital sale than a retail.
What, for real? It costs more to buy a digital version than a physical copy on amazon for you? That's some grade a bullshit.
It's gonna depend on the game for prices, but digital (console) is always more expensive. Amazon can justify lowering physical prices cause of stock levels and generally having to sell the majority of their stock, whereas digital is digital so no real reason to lower prices. Currently Battlefront 2 is £49.99 for physical (both consoles) or £69.99 for digital Xbox One.
