Would like to nominate the Mad Max game as having an appalling jump.

General question - what's the best way to call the voicemail dumptruck from outside the US?

I would have loved to be in the producers meeting for that movie Soul:

"So we've got this animated movie about jazz, who should we get for the soundtrack?"

"I was thinking Trent Reznor?"

".... name's not ringing a bell...."

"You know, the "fuck you like an animal" guy?"

"Oh him?!? Awesome choice, let's bring him in"

(not knocking him or his soundtrack, I just would love to hear that conversation)

Does surprise me the Albummer crew weren't into wrestling back in the day. All the kids I knew growing up that were metal heads or punk kids, all loved wrestling. Like the venn diagram was a complete overlap. Whereas I was a pretentious serious indie kid who thought all that stuff was for little kids.

Plus my parents were too cheap to get Sky TV so I couldn't watch it.

Fun fact, Mark Knopfler and Sting are both from Newcastle so maybe that explains the similarities.

Just thought of another thing, I remember not thinking the Pitchfork review wasn't that noteworthy but that's probably because I read a lot of the British weekly music press in the 90's and 00's. And they were fucking savage on a constant basis. I even read through some genre specials they put out and like in the 80's they were brutal to a lot of bands that definitely didn't deserve the crap thrown their way.

Aussies love this kind of meat 'n potatoes, rock 'n roll. I was living in Australia when this album came out and even this album started to get some pushback there, which tells you how bad it is.

Also, please continue with the Bakalar ribbing, I'm all about that.

Love Two Minutes to Midnight, so I'm pumped for this show. Also big thumbs up for the Nothing shirt Jordan's rocking.
