I usually enjoy shitting on Ubisoft for their storied resume of bullshit excuses but not in this case. Wanting reviewers to experience a fully populated world before rendering their opinions seems a logical and reasonable request. A non-issue on a slow news days methinks.

Someone needs to coin a catchy new term for professional suicide by Twitter. Perhaps in honor of Mr.Maulbeck we could go with "Murderbeck" as in "He really pulled a Murderbeck.", or "He Murderbecked his way into the unemployment line."

I've uninstalled this mess of a game 2 times this week in utter frustration. Yet here I am playing it again strangely enough. The core game itself is fantastic but the overall feel of the game seems unfinished and rushed out the door. The single player experience seems to have been cobbled together in an afternoon, and the voice acting I'd nominate as some of the worst in any game ever. It's been out a week now and 4 patches will give you an indication how polished this title is. Game crashes/freezes, corrupt saves, graphical anomalies oh my. In my honest opinion I'd wait until this game goes on steam sale in the future and perhaps by then the dev's will have sorted through some of SPG2s deficits.

I've been playing for two days now and I'm still enjoying the game but there are a couple of game elements that just seem rushed. The main menu's art design seem to harken back to an old movie theatre vibe with cartoonish movie marquees which don't really fit the theme. I think this and other gui elements gives the game an arcady feel. The new integrated Twitch streaming is a excellent feature and I've been using it a lot. Perhaps with an update and a more options I could see myself tossing x-Split and openbroadcaster if only more of my games had this wicked feature. Btw maybe I just suck at this game but on normal difficulty I'm still failing the odd level, how are you people fairing I wonder.

I wish they'd tacked something like "oh, and it's coming to PC this September now, too" onto the end of that statement...

I was also expecting them to announce the delay was due to a possible PC release. No love from rockstar for the PC gamers but really we 're used to it by now. Hrmm hows the x-box emulator scene coming along these days?...

This news sucks for all the Vancourver employees

No doubt. Stay in one of the most beautiful cities in the world with a laid back west coast feel or move to ick Toronto...Easy choice imo.

Screw this game, I want a new, REAL, brothers in arms :(

Agreed. Last year when I first saw this new "reimagining" of the Brothers in Arms franchise I said to myself what a stinking pile this new rendition was. Gearbox just let this project die and move on...Your new ideas are not worthy of the Brothers in Arms name.

I still like shooters but COD games have always gave me that Marcel Marseau feeling as I vainly attempt to find an opening in the invisible walls that box me into the developers narrow path to objectives. The entire level progression style where enemies are unlimited and the only true way to beat your opponents is to cross the next invisible line in the sand. My cup of apathy is half full.
