Wouldn't have just been less of a PR mess to not release the game until now? I doubt this patch is going to fix everything because the base games are still incomplete beta versions of SH2 and SH3.
From what I've seen, the patch still doesn't address the games being way too dark compared to the original versions.
But releasing this in March when they knew it was broken and taking four months to address anything is downright shameful.
Patches aren't going to save what's wrong with HD Collection. Period. Absolutely terrible shit they did to those games. Tomm Hulett was actually posting in the NeoGAF thread for HD Collection to defend his script changes to SH3 (lol) but bailed once everyone starting noticing so many problems.
If anyone wants to see for themselves, I made two extensive videos that show what's wrong with the HD versions of SH2 and SH3.
I lost all respect for this guy when he stood on a stage at Call of Duty XP and announced "NO MORE LAST STAND!" to a screaming crowd of approval when he damn well knew Final Stand, which is much worse, was going to be kept in the game. Not to mention all the other lies he's fed the community since CoD4.
This Aris guy sounds like a gigantic idiot that needs to be slapped in the face repeatedly.
