Quests

Quests are a lot of fun. I'm even creating a meaningless blog entry to satisfy a requirement. I'll probably make a more substantial blog post eventually.

Quests are even more meaningless (er... less meaningful) than Trophies or Achievements. Plenty of them are broken, plenty are so obscure and inside-joke-ish that they're irrelevant to almost everyone, and they seem to typically be reduced to googling around the right combination of keywords and phrases until you find the answer, because you weren't playing videogames when you were three years old, back in 1980, and therefore didn't know what kind of had some obscure character wore.

It's definitely a clever solution to "how do we get more page views and ad impressions, without just breaking every article up into 800 pages", though.

in fairness that's like saying this general knowledge quiz question is stupid because I don't know the answer. Why would it be a Quest if they asked something everyone should automatically know?
