Hey folks. I'm planning on starting a new series on the youtube channel I share with my friends where I play random-ass games for the sake of playing them. It really has no real rhyme or reason yet, but that's something I'm working on.
These games are going to be single player experiences. Two games I've already picked out are Happy Wheels and Papers Please. I'm looking for more games along those lines I spose; kinda light experiences, something I could pop into a 20 minute video and just fuck around in.
Any good suggestions? And if anybody has any suggestions to any sort of pull I can put towards this series, I'd also appreciate that. Thanks!
Right now I'm reading Settling Accounts: Drive to the East by Harry Turtledove.
It's the second book in the THIRD (that's right, third) series that chronicles an alternative history where the South wins the Civil War and gains independence.
Technically, it's actually the fourth. They had a book about the Civil War itself I think, then a series set during World War I, then a series set in between World War I and II, and now the one I'm reading is set during WWII.
I love Turtledove; he's an armchair historian with crazy hair/eyes. Plus his books are downright awesome!
My pops is an electric engineer. I'm finishing up my BA in history. I get where he comes from (tinkering with stuff is cool) but idk if i could handle the math he went through to get there.
