Fei-Yen is definitely over pretty haha. I must have played this for dozens of hours as a kid but I was never able to actually finish it so seeing one of the endings was great.
I'm actually liking the game a lot, keep in mind I haven't played a wrestling game in over a decade so maybe that's why? It sucks that you had issues with bugs Alex, I've got dozens of hours played and haven't run into a single issue (my brother hit an annoying one really quickly though so I think I got lucky). I agree with the submission system though, that shit is terrible.
@demoskinos: Some of the funnest moments are when I do a good job managing my reversals and getting my opponent to use them all up then proceeding to beat the crap out of them with no worries for awhile. It doesn't happen often but its awesome when it does. I understand why the guys don't like it but it is really good if you go in with few expectations and don't expect a arcade style game. I really enjoyed the quick look though, Alex did a decent job showing the game off and even going into how he isn't digging the more sim direction. It actually helped me decide to pick it up.
@demoskinos: i've already put around 20 hours into it and am also loving it. While reading reviews and listening to the guys talk about It I came to the same conclusion as you, Jeff and Dan simply aren't interested in the more sim direction of it. I'm in a somewhat unique position since the last wrestling game I played was on the N64 and even with the simulation mindset i'm still really into it. The showcase mode is really well done and i'm very excited to really get into the career mode.
