Player:

Palin is not smarter than 99% of America, and 99% of America isn't that smart. (Myself included)
We demand a certain intellectual inquisitiveness from our leaders--a base level of knowledge and know-how. A knowledge of world leaders, a firm grasp of facts that will inform their policy when in office, understanding of economics, healthcare, education, taxes, etc., etc.

Barack Obama has that inquisitiveness and the knowledge. So does Joe Biden. So does John McCain.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, does not. The only thing she's known is Alaska, and I'm sure she's plenty qualified to be the Governor of that state. But at this time, at this hour...for our country's sake, it behooves any rational human being to vote for McCain for the simple fact that there is a chance he could die and she would be the President of the United States. Do you want the President of the United States of America to have to be told who the Prime Minister of Canada is? We're neighbors for Christ's sake--how does Palin not know who Stephen Harper is?

And even if I was to give you that she was "smarter/more educated in politics wise than 99% of America," that's no excuse--we don't want someone in the 99th percentile being President of the United States. We need someone at the very top of the class if we're going to get out of the mess the last "Sarah Palin" put us in. But the fact of the matter is that that is simply not true. Here is an individual that had to go to four different colleges to obtain a journalism degree--then, when asked what newspapers she read, couldn't name a single publication...and then blamed her inability to muster up a simple answer (hell, just say one...New York Post, New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Wall Street Journal...problem  is, she reads none of these...) on "gotcha journalism" for her own failings.

Sarah Palin does not get faulted for answering questions, she gets faulted for having a very limited knowledge about things outside the issues she cares about. (I'm sure she could talk about her love of God and the right for the government to ban abortions in all instances for hours on end) Obama is not fake and he does not dance around questions--it's called nuance--not everything in this world is black and white. It's not US vs THEM, "you're either with us or against us" any longer. We've been there and we've seen the path it has taken this nation.

America has fucked up plenty of times in our history, but like many times before it, we always realize the errors in our ways and we become a better country because of it. On November 4th, we're going to put an end to this notion that an "average Joe Six-Pack" is needed in the White House. It's time for change, my friend.

You are a bad person.

None of the above.
Unless we're talking stack attacks. Ketchup and mayo are then acceptable.

You're a lucky man. It's $1.39 here in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. A travesty.

I need to e-mail In-N-Out to tell them to please make a burger joint in my town. When I was out in the Phoenix/Tempe area, I ate there a couple of times.

I think if God had a "taste", they're cheeseburgers were what God would taste like.

If they dropped that price down to .99 a burger, I think I'd live there.
